Daniel Klinger
Senior Manager, Global Information Security, The Hershey Company

Dan Klinger leads Global Information Security efforts at The Hershey Company, the world’s largest chocolate candy company selling more than 80 brands in over 90 countries. He has built a career bridging business requirements with IS processes; producing collaborative results with technical credibility.

Dan has relentlessly built a team of passionate security professionals that align themselves closely with the business to deliver secure programs in a complex global environment. This team, combined with his strong ability to build consensus, guide decisions with a focus on risk management, and influence others, has delivered a results-oriented program. He has focused on creating internal and external relationships to establish himself as a trusted advisor to information security firms and organizations.

His career in information security spans 22 years, including safeguards for network, application security and regulatory compliance. Dan is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Kim Jones
Senior Vice President & Chief Security Officer, Vantiv

Kim L. Jones is SVP, Chief Security Officer at Vantiv and has been an intelligence, security, and risk professional for over 25 years. A sought-after speaker and industry thought leader, Jones has built, refined, and/or managed security programs in the financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, outsourcing, and defense industries.

Jones has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, a master’s degree in information assurance from Norwich University and holds the CISM, CISSP, and CRISC certifications. Jones is a member of the CISO Advisory Council for ISSA International and currently sits on the board of directors for the Phoenix Chapter of ISACA.

Beth Montag-Schmaltz
Principal, PeopleFirm

Beth is a founding partner of PeopleFirm and a recognized researcher, practitioner, innovator, and thought leader in the field of adoption and change execution methodologies and tools. Throughout her 16 -year professional journey she has designed and managed complex change management programs for strategic and high-risk corporate initiatives. Beth brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and creative energy to guiding organizations and their leaders through a structured yet uniquely tailored process that produces concrete returns on their investments. As an author of cutting-edge articles and white papers, Beth provides companies with the unconventional wisdom to reach and often exceed their business goals through a practical approach to leading people through change.

In addition to leading PeopleFirm’s Change Management Practice, Beth is a board member of the PNW Chapter of Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and is credited with establishing the first US-based regional ACMP community of change practitioners. Today, Beth is pioneering advances in two unique areas of change management: developing best practices for measuring and tracking change initiatives across the enterprise and building sustainable, change-capable organizations. Given her thought leadership and depth of experience, Beth is in high demand as an advisor to executive teams on the key challenges in managing organizations saturated with change.

Beth developed deep experience in the telecommunications industry before moving on to lead projects in high technology, non-profit, manufacturing, and financial services. Prior to co-founding PeopleFirm, Beth was the vice president in charge of Hitachi Consulting’s Global Organizational Change Management Practice.

Beth has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and minor in Psychology from Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio and an Executive MBA from the University of Washington. She is Prosci certified, a board member of the PNW Chapter of Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and founder of the Pacific Northwest Change Alliance. She lends the same energy that she brings to her work with PeopleFirm to the Board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Puget Sound. At the end of the day, Beth loves to travel and savor Pinot Noirs with her husband, Chris.

Jason Hong
Associate Professor, School of Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction Institute, Carnegie Mellon University

Jason joined the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University in 2004 as an assistant professor in the Human Computer Interaction Institute. He works in the areas of ubiquitous computing and usable privacy and security, focusing on location-based services, anti-phishing, mobile social computing and end-user programming.

He is also an author of the book "The Design of Sites” (Addison-Wesley, 2001), a pattern-based approach to designing customer-centered web sites. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and his undergraduate degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Pete Lindstrom
Principal, Spire Security, LLC

Pete Lindstrom is Principal of Spire Security, an industry analyst firm focused on information security. In his 20+ year career, Pete has held other industry analyst positions at Burton Group and Hurwitz Group as well as industry positions as a security architect for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and an IT auditor for PwC and GMAC Mortgage. Pete honed his finance and technology skills in the United States Marine Corps.

Pete is a frequent speaker and writer on information security topics and is a Director of the International Systems Security Association (ISSA). He has a finance degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Mark T. Chapman

Mark is the president and founder of and has spent the majority of his 20+ year career leading talented teams in the development of cutting-edge solutions in the areas of risk management, information security, and social engineering. Mark has extensive experience addressing security concerns for a wide variety of enterprise customers who keep him closely connected to the information security community and the challenges within. is the next generation solution for Measured Security Awareness. Designed as an enterprise level platform for testing, training, and measuring susceptibility to social engineering threats, helps organizations progressively strengthen their user-level security posture.

Mark is a popular and engaging speaker that has been chosen to present on behalf of several professional associations, including ISACA, ISSA, and Infragard. Mark has also presented his research findings at conferences in the United States, Asia, and Europe.

Mark earned both a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science in the area of Cryptography and Data Security from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His Information Security Certifications include: CFE, CISSP, IAM, CISM, and CRISC.

Mark resides with his wife of 20 years, Cheri, in Muskego, Wisconsin. They have three sons who are all avid musicians. His family enjoys outdoor activities including boating, fishing, and hiking.

Brenda Santos
Information Security and Strategy Officer, Websense, Inc.

Brenda Santos is a security strategist for Websense, Inc. Santos is responsible for providing strategic security expertise and services to CSOs, CIOs and CISOs. With 20 years of experience in the IT infrastructure and information security industries, she counsels global security teams on best practices to prevent advanced attacks and data theft.

Prior to Websense, Santos served as the director of information security and compliance at Zale Corporation, a leading international specialty retailer. During her tenure, Santos implemented information security programs, executed the design and documentation for the SOX controls and designed security strategies to ensure compliance. She also previously held several IT positions at Brinker International, a world-leading casual dining company, including director of technical services.

Santos is Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certified.
