The number and size of DNS-based distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks is climbing. These attacks are intended to impact business operations and cause fear for the victims.

Join the ISSA LV Chapter and Infoblox’s Cricket Liu for an interactive luncheon to learn DNS best practices that can be readily implemented to reduce the impact of a DNS DDoS and ensure your infrastructure is not used to amplify attacks. We will also discuss:

·         Preventative steps that will enable a more resilient DNS Infrastructure

·         Best Practices for configuring recursive and authoritative DNS servers

·         When to deploy symmetric and asymmetric topologies to mitigate layer 4 and layer 7 attacks

·         Why it is important to ensure that your infrastructure is not used in an attack.

Cricket Liu is Infoblox's Chief Infrastructure Officer and serves as a liaison between Infoblox and the DNS community. Cricket is the co-author of all of O'Reilly's Nutshell Handbooks on the Domain Name System.

Feel free to forward this to others you think might be interested in attending. We look forward to seeing you!
